During early access, an authorised Wid matching specialist will personally review your application and look for strong alignment across intentions, values and practical preferences. This gives early members more hands-on support while the Wid community grows.
Your information is handled under Wid privacy controls and applicable data-protection requirements. It is never displayed in a public directory. When the full Wid app launches, matching will transition to the Wid compatibility algorithm using the information and preferences in your profile.

Not through the portal. If a potential match is identified, both people are contacted privately first, and details are only shared with explicit permission.
Are photographs required?+
No. The initial release does not collect photographs or identity documents.
Can I wait for algorithmic matching?+
Yes. You can choose to complete your profile but hold it back from early manual matching. Wid will contact you when app-based matching launches.
Can I update or withdraw my information?+
Yes. You may update, pause or withdraw your application whenever you wish.
